About
The Think and Care Tank
IC
Fingerer, president of The Think and Care Tank says that the
organization will utilize print, radio and television media to feature
objective, scientifically valid, provocative and intriguing advertisements
and commercials about morals and values. Next time you turn on the
radio or television, you may hear the familiar voice of an actor or
actress speaking about subjects that may inspire or provoke you to
act morally and do something positive for society.
According to IC Fingerer, the Think and Care Tank will disseminate
moral enhancing literature to the general public and create a national
lecture series and workshops for campuses and leading corporations.
President IC Fingerer, an acclaimed rabbi, bioethicist, and noted
author and lecturer, also says that that the Think and Care Tank will
establish pub like facilities where young adults can engage in mature,
philosophical discussions, in a carefree, non-judgmental environment.
The Think and Care Tank, under Rabbi Fingerer’s Leadership,
will explore whether illicit pleasure really engenders happiness.
Interestingly, many people who have succeeded in acquiring transient
pleasures are neither happy nor fulfilled. Just a sampling of the
lives of some of the greatest stars proves this point: Janis Joplin
and Judy Garland died of an overdose. Marilyn Monroe killed herself.
These stars had it all – money and romance, yet they were not
happy. In a paper entitled, “Does Economic Lot Improve the Human
Lot?” famed economist Richard Easterlin showed that there is
no real correlation between wealth and happiness. For classical economists,
it was almost tautological to say that the wealthier people are, the
happier they are too. Easterlin proved otherwise.
